(Mission Advocacy and Grants Committee)
Our purpose is to inform, encourage, and inspire women to be actively involved in supporting Mission Outreach.
Our objectives:
- The women of the LCMS have a personal connection with LWML mission grants adopted for the 2007-2009 biennium.

Mission-a-Month
A different mission from the 2007-2009 grants will be featured each month. Click on Mission Grants for current updates on mites received and a list of grants and their current status. For your convenience, a generic devotion for each month and a monthly mite calendar can be downloaded for your use. Share these with your church through newsletters and bulletins. Use them in your society, zone and district to help people see their mites at work. What an honor it is for us to pray and give our mites to the furthering of God's kingdom and His glory!
Mite Label Wrap
Have you seen the traveling mite container label? These free colorful downloadable labels can be attached to a small Pringles™ potato chip or similar container. Use them anywhere: in the cup holder of your vehicle, your desk, the laundry room, etc. Of course, you may continue to promote and use the purple Mite Boxes™ and the Children's Mite Boxes™. The traveling mite container label is one more way to collect mites for missions.

Teach young ones stewardship with a new Arch Book from Concordia Publishing House called The Widow's Offering. Children ages 5 to 9 grow and learn when you teach them this special Bible story that's central to the LWML mission. This book is a perfect companion to the LWML mite box to give young stewards. Children can read and practice the joy of sharing God's gifts with others.
